Photo Specification
Regulations on photographs for Indian Visas are strict and must fall within the specifications and sizes given below (photographs that do not meet the specifications may not be accepted for submission):
Ø The photograph should be in colour
Ø The size is 2 inch x 2 inch (50 mm x 50 mm)
Ø The print should be clear and a continuous tone quality
Ø It should have a full face, front view, eyes open with a natural expression on the face
Ø The head must be centred within frame
Ø The background should be light
Ø Any distracting shadows on the face or on the background must be avoided
Ø Head coverings are not permitted except for religious reasons, but the facial features from bottom of chin to top of forehead and both edges of the face must be clearly shown
