Who is it for?
If you are travelling to Russia for cultural, scientific, sports or religious purposes you will require a Humanitarian Visa. Humanitarian Visas can be valid for up to 3 months and can be issued for single or double entry or for multiple entry for up to 1 year.
The visa will be issued in accordance with the entries and dates mentioned on your letter of invitation issued by a Russian Federal Migration Service agency or a telex from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
What do we offer?
Once you have received your letter of invitation (LOI) from Russia, we can assist you with obtaining your Humanitarian visa to Russia from the Consulate.
What we need from you:
In order to process your Russian Humanitarian Visa Application we will require the following:
- Completed and signed visa application form (which must be completed online and can be downloaded here)
- 1 recent passport photo (must comply with UK Passport Agency regulations)
- Passport (in good condition, with at least 2 adjacent blank pages and valid for 6 months after return from Russia)
- Letter of invitation, original (LOI; you will need to enter information from your invitation onto the application form. Please feel free to email us your invitation and we can confirm the information you require.)
- Letter of introduction*
- HIV Certificate (must be an original, be stamped and signed, and should have been issued in the last 3 months.)
- Visa Processing Fee
*This is a letter to confirm your passport details, the type of visa required, your purpose of travel, who will be responsible for the finance and insurance for the trip. If you are applying in London, it should also include a contact details (including name and number) for the inviting organisation (as per your LOI). It can be either in Russian or English.

We will return your passport by Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery or will prepare it for collection as you require.
Please remember to include a note of your daytime contact number and indicate the address your passport and visa should be returned to.
Visa Processing Fee
We will require payment before we can begin processing your order. Payment can be made by AMEX (3.5% surcharge), credit (2% surcharge) or debit (no surcharge) card either over the phone or by completing and sending our Payment Authorisation Form.
